This Writ Petition has been filed, to direct the first and second respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and to peaceful possession of her property

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a dispute over the property. According to the petitioner, the petitioner's mother had settled the property to her elder son, namely, Pandi without mutes and bounds. After the demise of the said Pandi, his wife sold the property to the third party, who are creating disturbance to the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner over the property. He further submitted that a civil suit is also pending.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police and give details of the civil suit and the boundaries of the property.

4. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the respondent police. 2/4

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 27.01.2025 and to give all the particulars with regard to a civil suit and the boundaries of the property. Thereafter, the respondent police shall conduct an enquiry and complete the same within period of two months therefrom.
