ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Senior Selection Grade Tradesman of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 31.05.2022.

2. According to the petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 23.05.2023. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 08.11.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents 2 and 3 herein are directed to pay 6% interest from the due date till 22.05.2023 to the writ 2/4

petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
