ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order 25.11.2024 made in A1/Est.013728/2024 and consequently, to direct the third respondent to follow open auction cum tender for grant of license to collect parking fee at Central Vegetable Market and Fruit Market, Mattuthavani Madurai.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the impugned notification dated 25.11.2024 is likely to be withdrawn because the Council has resolved in the meeting dated 29.11.2024 for taking up the tender pertaining to the present notification by inviting Private Public Partnership Model (PPP) model. It is intimated by the Commissioner, Madurai Corporation, Madurai, that in the Council meeting 2/4
dated 29.11.2024, that the tender is likely to be invited for the purpose of MGR Bus Stand, Omni Bus Stand and Central Market Parking Shed through Private Public Partnership method and for that purpose, the same is approved.
3. Since the said submission of the Commissioner, Madurai Corporation, is recorded in the council, taking note of the same, the Commissioner, Madurai Corporation, is intended to withdraw the impugned tender notification.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to take part in the fresh auction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 10.12.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No jbr 3/4
