ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his workers while fencing the land in S.No.235/4, 260/10, 357/11, 363/3A, 380/4 in Sirugapatti Hamlet, Pananvayal Group, Karakudi Taluk, Sivagangai.

2. On the strength of the order passed in C.M.P(MD)No.3356 of 2022 in S.A(MD)No.251 of 2022, the petitioner made a representation seeking police protection from the private respondents who is trying to interfere with the cultivation of the land of the petitioner.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the respondent, enquiry was undertaken. During the enquiry, it was found that it is purely a civil issue. The 2/4

petitioner appeared before the respondent and gave an undertaking that he will resolve the issue in the pending civil proceedings.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that eventhough an order of interim injunction was granted, that was not considered by the respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will work out remedy in the pending matter itself by filing proper proceedings against the private respondents.

5. The petitioner is at liberty to work out remedy, if any necessity arises, in future with the second respondent herein. With this direction, and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 30.11.2023 NCC :
