Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to register the Document bearing No. P108/2020 dated 21.08.2020 in view of the order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Pa.Mu.P1/17257/2019 dated 29.09.2023 pertaining to the land in S.No.38/2 (0.64.0 Ares) and S.No.35/4 (0.48.0 Ares) situated in Pudhukiluvachi Village Group, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

2.The petitioner wants to settle the petition mentioned property in favour of his wife. When the petitioner presented the document on the earlier occasion, the registering authority refused registration and issued 2/5

refusal check slip. The petitioner thereupon moved the District Registrar. The petitioner took note of the reasons set out in the refusal check slip and appears to have set right the situation. Now the revenue records have been mutated in his favour. The petitioner is ready to represent the document.

3.The petitioner is permitted to present the settlement deed executed in favour of his wife before the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent will consider the materials placed by the writ petitioner and if everything is in order, subject to fulfillment of the other usual formalities register the document.

4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
