O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed by a Guard/II Grade Warden working in the Government Children Home, Thanjavur, challenging the order of transfer dated 25.11.2024, wherein he has been transferred from Thanjavur District to Chennai.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner is taking treatment for Psoriasis at Thanjavur and therefore any transfer to Chennai would affect the continuity of treatment and hence the petitioner seeks to quash the order of transfer. 2/6
3. It is further submitted that the petitioner has given a representation to the authorities, on 27.11.2024, seeking re-transfer to Thanjavur and the same is pending.

Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents herein had contended that the petitioner is working in the Thanjavur district for the past 11 years and he has been transferred only on administrative grounds. He further submits that the petitioner can also continue his treatment at Chennai.
5. Considering the fact that the order of transfer is only on administrative grounds, this Court does not find any reason to interfere in the order of transfer. However, it is for the authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.11.2024, seeking retransfer to Thanjavur District. The said application may be considered on merits and in accordance with law and orders may be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
6. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 09.12.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gvn 4/6
