ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.242 of 2013, on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions would submit that the respondent police after conducting proper investigation, closed the case as 'mistake of fact'.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the respondent police is directed

to furnish a copy of the closure report to the counsel for the petitioner, if not furnished already to the petitioner and on receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
