ORDER

This petition has been filed against the fair and decreetal order dated 20.09.2024 passed in IA No.4 of 2024 in HMOP No.504 of 2023 on the file of Family Court, Tiruchirappalli. 1/4

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the wife and the respondent/husband filed HMOP No.504 of 2023 for divorce on the file of the family Court, Tiruchirappalli, in which, the petitioner has filed IA No.4/2024 to reject HMOP No.504/2023 and the same was dismissed. Challenging the same, the petitioner is before this Court. However, the learned counsel would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the HMOP No.504/2023 at the earliest.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is having an alternative remedy of filing an appeal against the order of dismissal. When there is an alternative remedy, invoking the writ jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India by filing a Civil Revision Petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 09.07.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No RR 2/4
