Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents do not change the patta from the petitioner name - M.V.Muthurathinam and the petitioner's sisters name - M.Saroja to any other name without valid documents and reasons by this Court. ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader informed the Court that the revenue record in respect of the petition mentioned property is stand in the name of M.V.Muthurathinam and M.Saroja.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that M.Saroja found in the revenue record is his sister and that the similarity in the name is sought to be misused by the fifth respondent who is the wife of one Murugan and who is not the petitioner's sister. 4.Since the revenue record reflects the name of the petitioner as on date, if any mutation is sought to be effected, it shall not be done without notice to the petitioner. As pointed out by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the fourth respondent must have valid reasons for making any change. In any event, nothing shall be done without putting the petitioner on notice.
5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
