ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.343 of 2005 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai.

2. When the matter was called on the last occasion, i.e. on 07.10.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, it was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' on 01.11.2016.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner as well as the second respondent.

4. As per the report of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai, the above said case, after trial, was disposed of on 07.08.2014 acquitting the accused under Section 248(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

5. In the light of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
