O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to disburse the retirement benefits of the petitioner.

2. Even though the 3rd respondent sent a proposal dated 05.02.2020 to the 2nd respondent seeking permission to disburse the retirement benefits of the petitioner, who had voluntarily retired from service on 16.02.2008, no action had been initiated thereon. It is unfortunate case, even after 17 years of voluntary retirement, the petitioner had not been paid terminal benefits.

3. In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner based upon the recommendations made by the 3rd respondent society on 05.02.2020 and disburse the terminal benefits to the petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
