sq.ft (5 cents and 102 sq.ft.,) based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2023.

By relying on a sale deed dated 20.01.2000 in respect of the property bearing survey No.11/1 of an extent of 2282 sq.ft., the petitioner had submitted a representation to the Tahsildar for issuance of patta. This Writ Petition relates thereto.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. By referring to the order dated 02.01.2024 in W.P. (MD) No.31280 of 2023, he submits that the petitioner had approached this Court earlier for the same relief and that this Court disposed of the said Writ Petition by directing the Revenue Divisional Officer to pass orders on the petitioner's application within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of such order. He also submits that the matter falls within the jurisdiction of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam and the file has been transferred to him. While 2/5

proceedings are pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam, learned Special Government Pleader submits further that the petitioner submitted a fresh representation to the Tahsildar and has approached this Court.

3. In view of the above submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam is suo motu added as fourth respondent and this order shall be issued to him after carrying out the consequential amendments in the cause title of this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, it is appropriate that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirumangalam shall dispose of the petitioner's request in terms of the order dated 02.01.2024 in W.P.(MD) No.31280 of 2023. In view of the lapse of considerable time since the issuance of such order, such representation shall be disposed of within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
