Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.Yen.113/Mike/SDOP/2025 dated 20.09.2025 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct "Adal Padal" program scheduled to be held on 30.09.2025 as a part of "Purattasi Pongal Thiruvizha" in Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukovil at Keelakarisalkulam Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District. ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order passed by the first respondent, dated 20.09.2025 and for a consequential direction to grant permission to conduct the Aadal Paadal programme in connection with the "Purattasi Pongal Thiruvizha" in Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukovil at Keelakarisalkulam Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District, scheduled to be held on 28.09.2025 to 02.10.2025.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the temple festival is scheduled to be celebrated from 28.09.2025 to 02.10.2025. However, by the impugned order dated 20.09.2025, the first respondent has rejected the request of the petitioner for permission to conduct the Aadal paadal program on 30.09.2025.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that since there is a possibility of law and order problem, the first respondent police has rejected the petitioner's request. However, the respondents on reconsideration have no objection to 2/4

grant permission to the petitioner to conduct Aadal Paadal program on 30.09.2025 subject to certain conditions.

4. In view of the above said submissions, the impugned order of the first respondent dated 20.09.2025 is set aside and the respondents shall permit the petitioner to conduct the Aadal Paadal program on 30.09.2025, subject to the conditions imposed by them.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
