ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the third respondent to release arrears amount of Rs.4,82,243/- (Four Lakhs Eighty Two Thousand and Two Hundred Forty Three Rupees) along with the interest of 6% to the petitioner.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents submits that the petitioner has not completed work awarded pursuant to the work order, dated 24.02.2014. He further submits that the petitioner was also duly informed about the shortcomings in the work completed, as a result of which the petitioner's representation dated 09.11.2023 has not been considered.

3. The petitioner deserves to know the reasons as to why the petitioner's representation, dated 09.11.2023 has not been considered in response to the work completed by the petitioner.

Considering the same, the third respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 09.11.2023 within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, the petitioner's grievance remains unredressed, it is open to the petitioner to work out the remedy in a manner know to law.
