ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking orders to punish the contemnor/respondent for his willful and deliberate disobedience of the order of this Court passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.13160 of 2017, dated 12.08.2024. 1/4

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that after enquiry on petitioner's representation, FIR was registered in Crime No.9 of 2025 and after completing the investigation, charge sheet was filed and the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.12323 of 2025 and the same is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tiruchirappalli. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that since the Labour Union people have been threatening the petitioner continuously, he was forced to give representation to the Police. 4.As rightly contended by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) based on the complaint, FIR was registered and charge sheet was also filed.

If the threatening is continued, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional police and upon receipt of any such complaint, the jurisdictional police is directed to take necessary steps in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 18.11.
