ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / accused apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b) and 506(i) IPC in Crime No.247 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous motive, the petitioner herein has attacked the defacto complainant and also threatened him with dire 1/3

consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The leaned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and his name has been falsely implicated in this case and hence, he seeks anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner is a History sheeted rowdy and hence, he strongly, opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the serious nature of offence committed by the petitioner and also the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
