2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's Citizenship Application in MHA File No.2022011065 dated 06.10.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the counter party, if any.
