ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.273 of 2023 dated 04.12.2023 and proceed with the same as per law within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.273 of 2023 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks four months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.273 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
