********** This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the Petitioner's land measuring to an extent of 6.20 acres comprised in S.No.61/2, situated at Kannivadi Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District according to the order passed by the first respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 6340/2023/(F), dated 30.01.2024.
2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The Petitioner, as the owner of the property measuring an extent of 6.20 acres in S.No.61/2, situated at Kannivadi Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, made a representation to the first respodnent for surveying and demarcating the boundaries of his lands. The Petitioner also paid necessary fees for the same. As the first respondent did not conduct the survey and demarcate the property of the Petitioner, the Petitioner sent a representration to the first respondent on 04.03.2024 and even thereafter, no action was taken.The Petitioner, therefore, filed the above Writ Petition for
the relief stated supra.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the survey is scheduled to be conducted on 17.12.2024.
5.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and in the light of the fact that the survey is to be conducted on 17.12.2024, I am inclined to direct the 1st respondent to issue the survey report and the sketch to the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
