2. The petitioner seeks re-issuance of passport.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was submitted by the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner is shown as accused in C.C.No.539 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai for the offence under Sections 427 and 506(i) IPC.
4. Considering the nature of offence and the long pendency of the criminal case, the first respondent is directed to re-issue passport to the petitioner subject to fulfilment of the other usual formalities. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
