.. Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order issued by the 1st 1/6

respondent in REF. LBO/PDKT/EL WAIVER / 2024-25 dated 12.07.2024 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to sanction educational loan of a sum of Rs. 4,00,000/- to the petitioner within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court assailing the order dated 12.07.2024 passed by the first respondent.

2. In the said order, the request of the petitioner to sanction educational loan has been rejected since the petitioner has not obtained appropriate marks as per the norms of the Bank. 2/6

This Court, vide order, dated 13.03.2026, directed the respondent Bank to verify as to whether the petitioner has secured 61% marks and in the event the petitioner is found to have secured 61% marks, the respondent bank will process his application and sanction education loan in accordance with its norms.

4. Subsequently, the respondent bank, after verification, has found that the petitioner has secured 61% marks and therefore, he is entitled for sanction of education loan subject to production of relevant documents for the 4th year B.E. Engineering course.

5.In light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent bank to extent the education loan in favour of the petitioner for the 4th year Engineering course subject to the petitioner furnishing necessary documents before the second respondent.

6. The petitioner is directed to produce the relevant documents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this 3/6

order and upon receipt of the same, the respondent bank shall sanction education loan for the petitioner for the 4th year B.Tech., (Information Technology) Engineering course within two weeks from thereafter. 7.There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
