This writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for cutting and removing Juliflora trees from the Patta lands in Survey Nos.55/1 and 55/3 in Patta No.31 and Survey Nos.57/15 in Patta No.1801, situated in Kannirasapuram Village, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanthapuram District, without interference from the above respondents 3 and 4, based on the petitioner's representations dated 03.09.2025 and 19.09.2025. 2/5

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the respondents 3 and 4 are also claiming title over the property in which the petitioner seeks permission to cut the trees. 3.The respondent police have no right to interfere with the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents and they have rightly not considered the request. There cannot be any direction as prayed in this petition.

4.Thus, this writ petition is dismissed. It is needless to say that it is for the petitioner is to approach the civil Court for appropriate remedy. 25.09.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
