ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to issue No Objection Certificate for running SPA in the petitioner's premises.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions would submit that the Inspector of Police, Central Police Station would be the competent authority to consider the petitioner's request.

3. In view of the above said submission, the petitioner is directed to send a fresh representation to the said competent police officer. The Inspector of Police, Central Police Station, Thoothukudi, may consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of representation. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
