Respondents PRAYER:- Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents No. 5 to 6 in Kanmai Puramboke Land in Survey No. 9, Moothankulam Village, Virathanur Panchayat, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, as per the Communication of the 3rd respondent to the BDO, Thiruparankundram in Na.Ka.No. Aa2/2534/2021 dated 25.09.2024, within the period as stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Haja Mohideen For R1 to R4 : Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran Additional Government Pleader.

2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader states that the survey was conducted in respect of the petition-mentioned water body on 20.09.2024 and that three encroachments were noticed. He further 2/5

undertakes that the third respondent will take the matter to its logical conclusion by adhering to due process of law and complete the entire exercise, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.By recording the aforesaid undertaking, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
