ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report on the basis of the First Information Report in Crime No.38 of 2022 dated 24.09.2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that investigation is in progress and six witnesses have been examined sofar. This case involves the offence of forgery, wherein, the collection of documents is necessary and a specimen signature has to be obtained. Thereafter, the documents are to be submitted to the forensic department to find out the genuineness to conform the forgery. Hence, he seeks six months time to complete the investigation. 4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However the respondent police is directed to complete the 2/4

investigation and file a final report before the concerned Magistrate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
