ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to interfere into the civil dispute and harass the petitioners in any way on the basis of the complaint given by the respondents 3 and 4.

2. The petitioners on receipt of summons from the second respondent has filed this petition stating that the second respondent is harassing the petitioners to settle their dues of his daughter,Mareeswari and son-in-law, Pethuraj to third and fourth respondent. According to the petitioners the petitioners have nothing to do with the dealing with the daughter and son-in-law but the third and fourth respondents are unnecessarily harassing them.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the third respondent C.No.P3/05/DCB/TUT/2024 assigned on 06.03.2024. The petitioner's daughter,Mareeswari and son-in-law, Pethuraj are residing with the petitioner and now they are absconding. To know about the whereabouts of the petitioner's daughter,Mareeswari and son-in-law, Pethuraj who had cheated the third respondent to the tune of Rs.7lakhs is called for enquiry and summons have been sent. 2/4

4.It is seen that the petitioners have been called by way of summons and in connection with the specific complaint with regard to the complaint given by the third respondent, which cannot be termed as harassment.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed. However the petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry on 20.12.2024 and give their explanation.
