The present writ petition has been filed by a Forester seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent herein to pass final orders in the departmental proceedings.

2. As per the contention of the writ petitioner, he was issued with a Charge Memo on 14.02.2018, for which, he has submitted a reply on 27.05.2018. The enquiry was completed and report was submitted to the respondent herein. The first respondent has also sent a second show cause notice to the writ petitioner, for which, the petitioner has submitted his explanation on 16.11.2018. Thereafter, the petitioner has been continuously sending representations from 20.07.2022 till 13.07.2023 requesting the respondent herein to pass final orders in the departmental enquiry. So far, final order has not been passed. Hence, the present writ petition. 2/4

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings on or before 31.01.2024.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
