Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to provide police protection for survey and measurement of the petitioner's land in Vengaikuruchi Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District in No. 425, Natham Manai Vari, for Natham Survey No.51, New Natham Survey No.51/3, measuring 0.0282.0 square metres, 3035 square feet by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.10.2023. 1/4

ORDER

This petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to provide police protection to conduct survey of the land.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police on instructions submitted that if the petitioner wants to survey the land, necessary fees has to be paid before the revenue authorities and the application must be submitted. If ultimately, the revenue authorities want to survey the land and they seek for police protection, the second respondent will provide for police protection.

3. Recording the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
