ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by the wife of a deceased employee, who was serving as a Non-ITI Helper of the respondent Transport Corporation and passed away on 04.12.2022.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the terminal benefits due to the petitioner's husband were disbursed only on 09.10.2023. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 09.11.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% from 01.01.2023 till 08.10.2023 to the writ petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
