ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking the relief to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.45 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.V, Madurai, Madurai District.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that initially, the first respondent police laid a charge sheet in the Court of Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai, against the petitioners for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC. Thereafter, the said case was committed to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court of Sessions, Madurai District, and taken on file in S.C.No.209 of 2014 and made over to the learned V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Madurai. He further submitted that the trial in S.C.No.209 of 2014 has been completed and the same has ended in acquittal on 06.03.2017.

3.In view of the above subsequent developments, the relief sought for in this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
