ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue separate patta in the petitioner's name and his brother's name, Pitchai, by considering his application dated 13.09.2024, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

The petitioner purchased the property in S.No.393/1 measuring to an extent of 27 acres 35 cents, (in southern side 20 cents and in middle portion 15 cents) situated at Sinkurichi Village, Dindigul District under the registered sale deed dated 13.08.2012 vide Doc.No.720/12. While being so, the petitioner came to know that certain persons in the village were trying to obtain separate patta in their names by obtaining fraudulent documents. The petitioner therefore sent a representation on 13.09.2024, for issuance of separate patta in his name and in his brother's name. Since no action was taken on the petitioner's representation, he has filed the above writ petition.

5. It is seen that the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2024 is kept pending for the past three months without any action. I am therefore inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.09.2024, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, and as per the time line given in the Circular issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai, dated 15.03.2021 in Na.Ka.Na.5/20403/2020. 3/6

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
