(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1 & R2.

2. The petitioner is the wife of the detenue. The detenue is missing since 28.10.2024. The petitioner gave complaint and it was registered by the second respondent in Crime No.584 of 2024. Since the detenue has not been traced till date, the present habeas corpus petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there appears to be some understanding between the petitioner and her husband. The petitioner's husband has gone missing for the second time.

4. We are satisfied that it is not a case of illegal detention. We however direct the second respondent to take earnest steps to trace the petitioner's husband and inform the petitioner accordingly. 2/4

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
