Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to grant extension of time for a further period of six months to complete the proceedings for sanction of family pension to the writ petitioner as directed by this Honourable Court vide its order dated 09.01.2023 made in W.P.(MD).No.9467 of 2020. Prayer in WP(MD). 9467/ 2020 :
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ or order more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to grant all the monetary benefits to petitioner for the death of petitioner`s mother Late P.Jayalakshmi, W/o. Mahalingam-Maternity Aaya, with interest from 25.06.1985 to till date of payment along with arrears of family pension payable to petitioner`s father from 25.06.1985 to July 1986, till petitioner`s father re-marriage, by considering petitioner`s representation dated 15.07.2020 with in the period as stipulated by this Honourable Court.
ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.G.Sivaraja, Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners herein, this court made the following order:- The respondents in the writ petition have filed W.M.P(MD) No.24582 of 2023 seeking extension of time for disposal of the request. 2.The writ petitioner has not furnished the documents as directed by this Court. Therefore, the respondents in the writ petition were prevented from passing orders.
3. In such a view of the matter, there is no necessity for granting extension of time.
