ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.4 of 2024 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 323 of IPC on the file of the first respondent police.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsels on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.

3. The defacto complainant and the first accused are present. The second accused appeared through video conferencing and the defacto complainant represented that she entered into a compromise as they are known to each other. A compromise memo, dated 23.02.2025 signed by the parties, is also filed before this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submittd that a counter case is also pending and so far they have not completed investigation in the counter case.

5. This Court has perused the terms of the compromise memo.

6. Considering the nature of the offences and the relationship between the parties and they have also entered into a compromise, it is appropriate to allow this petition.

7. Recording the compromise, this petition stands allowed and the First Information Report in Crime No.4 of 2024 dated 01.01.2024 on the file of the first respondent police is quashed.
