PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.149/2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 14.11.2023 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 392, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.149 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.11.2023, at about 11.00 a.m, the petitioner robbed a sum of Rs.700 from the defacto complainant by showing a sword with criminal intimidation. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks bail.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that even though, there is no previous case against the petitioner, considering the allegation attributed against the accused person that he has indulged in robbery, he strongly objected to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the nature of allegations levelled as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
