COMMON ORDER The petitions have been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to call for the records relating to the Cases in Crime Nos.40 and 41 of 2010 on the file of the first respondent police and to quash the same. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the rival parties and also the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent Police.
3.Finding the rival cases those arising out of a dispute between the Principal and Head of the Department of Tamil in V.T.M.College of Arts and Science Arumanai, Kanyakumari District, that the offences alleged are not grave in nature and given the position by both counsels that the parties now are not employees of the College as also that earlier reference to mediation has failed, this court given the triviality of dispute, in both cases in Crime Nos.40/2011 and 41/2011 on the file of the first respondent police, would quashthe same. Accordingly, the Criminal Original petitions are allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
