This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the C.C.No.84 of 2008 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act, 1997, Special Court, Madurai and quash the same as against the petitioners. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that on 24.08.2017 itself, the case in C.C.No.84 of 2008 on the file of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act, 1997, Special Court, Madurai was disposed of in which, the petitioners herein have been acquitted.
