O R D E R

The petitioners herein are arrayed as accused Nos.8 to 13 in Crime No.57 of 2011, on the file of the District Crime Branch, Dindigul. The petitioners filed this application under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the above said FIR.

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first

respondent represented that after completing the investigation, charge sheet has been filed in the said Crime No.57 of 2011, in the year 2014 itself, and the charge sheet was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, as C.C.No.24 of 2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 447, 342, 506 (ii), 379, 465, 468 and 471 of IPC. Subsequently, the said case was transferred to the Special Court constituted for Land Grabbing Cases, situated at Madurai for further adjudication.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. According to the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the prayer sought for in this petition becomes infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
