PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to pay the petitioner arrears of family pension payable for the period from 17.01.2015 to 30.04.2018, under the TNSTCEPF rules, together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by the wife of a deceased employee of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus for disbursement of arrears of family pension for the period between 17.01.2015 to 30.04.2018.
2. Pending writ petition, the respondent transport corporation has released pension arrears of Rs.2,26,685/-. There is no dispute in receiving family pension from May 2018 onwards. Since, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has already been acceded by the respondents, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition.
3. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
