These applications have been filed to discharge the petitioner / appellant from the guardianship of the appellant and to declare the petitioner / appellant as major.

2. As per the affidavit, the date of birth of the plaintiff in the suit is 06.12.2004 and she attained the majority on 06.12.2022. The factum of date of birth of the original plaintiff is not in dispute. The respondent filed an affidavit and also filed the birth certificate of the plaintiff issued by the Corporation of Madurai.

3. For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this Petition and on being satisfied with the same, this Petition is allowed.

4.Registry is directed to amend the cause title and post the case for final hearing in the fourth week of January, 2024.

5.The Registry is directed to return the affidavit and petition filed by Mr.T.R.Subramanian, learned counsel.
