By relying on a sale deed dated 05.07.2001 and the patta standing in the petitioner's name, the petitioner had applied for a survey of the land in Town Survey No.5/14 of an extent of 849 sq.ft. On the ground that such application was not acted upon within a reasonable time, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of after issuing notice to adjacent landowners, including the fourth respondent herein.

3. In view of the above submissions, it is not necessary to issue notice to the fourth respondent in this Writ Petition. Instead, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the 2/4

petitioner's request for survey and take necessary action thereon within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and all adjoining landowners, including the fourth respondent herein.
