ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondents 5 to 8 is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner wants this Court to clear the encroachments in the petition mentioned survey number.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader points out that the petitioner comes under the control of the HR&CE Department and that the petitioner can very well invoke Section 78 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959.

4.Granting such liberty to the writ petitioner, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
