PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.677/6 situated at Jambuduraikottai, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering application dated 24.06.2025. ORDER

By relying on settlement deed dated 09.06.2025 and patta No.2488, the petitioner had applied for conduct of survey of Land in S.No.677/6. The present writ petition relates thereto.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the application would be acted upon within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record both title and revenue records in his name. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioner confirms that there is no rival title claim. 4.In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's request for survey and complete the process within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to owners of adjoining lands and considering objections, if any, from them. No costs.
