PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.2,01,000/- as reimbursement for medical expenses towards the medical treatment underwent from 19.09.2023 to 05.01.2024 at PARC Hospital, Marthandam by considering the petitioner claim application dated 23.01.2024 submitted through the petitioner's wife Mrs.Meena following the reminder representation dated 16.07.2024, 10.09.2024 and 21.10.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a serving Government employee seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents to reimburse the medical expenses incurred towards the medical treatment underwent by him between 19.09.2023 and 05.01.2024 at PARC Hospital, Marthandam by considering his claim application dated 23.01.2024. 2/5

A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner's claim application was received by the office of the fourth respondent Insurance Company on 26.02.2024 and they have proceeded to pass an order on 03.06.2024, rejecting the claim of the petitioner on the ground that the Diagnosis and Line of Management is not covered as per the applicable governing Government Orders. A copy of the said order has also been furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. In view of the above said facts, the writ petitioner is at liberty to file an appeal before the first respondent challenging the order of the fourth respondent dated 03.06.2024, if he is so advised.
4. With the above said liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
