ORDER

The Criminal Revision is directed against the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.3208 of 2024 dated 23.10.2024 on the file of the Principal Special Court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Cases, Madurai, dismissing the petition filed under Sections 503 and 497 Cr.P.C. seeking interim custody of the property in dispute.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that they have already initiated confiscation proceedings.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to challenge the said proceedings and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Revision is dismissed as 2/4

withdrawn. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the proceedings initiated by the respondent police, if so advised.
