2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the DNA report, which confirms the fact that the petitioner is the father of the child born to the victim girl, after the sexual assault. 3.When this Court was not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
