ORDER

The petitioner has moved this petition to quash the proceedings pending against him in Crime No.16 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent Police on the ground of compromise along with compromise memo signed by the defacto complainant. Therefore, this Court by order dated 13.06.2025 ordered notice to 1/4

the respondents and directed the parties to be present before this Court. However, neither the petitioner nor the defacto complainant is present before this Court today.

2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submits that after completing investigation final report has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli. However in view of the bifurcation of the police station, the final report has been returned. Now it has to be filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi. 3.Considering the submission of the learned Government Advocate that final report has already been filed, this petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. 04.07.2025 DSK 2/4
