ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records relating to the S.C.No.68 of 2022 on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Court, Pudukkottai and quash the same as illegal as far as these petitioners are concerned.

2. Heard both sides.

3. After hearing the learned counsel on both sides, this Court is of the view that it is not a case for quashment. But considering the number of accused involved in this case, the personal appearance of the parties before the trial Court is dispensed with, except on the hearings when the personal appearance of the parties are required for identification, during the course of evidence. The trial Court is at liberty to direct the parties to appear on the date of examination of the witnesses. Let the trial process be completed within five months.
