O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 and 2 herein to remove the petitioner name from History Sheet record in H.S. No.69 of 2014 on the file of the 3rd respondent police station on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 09.10.2023 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents to remove his name from the History Sheet on 09.10.2023. Since the same was not considered till date, he has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to consider the same by the respondents. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that only on the basis of the false cases foisted against the petitioner by the third respondent herein, the history sheet was opened in respect of the petitioner. Now all the cases have been closed as mistake of fact. Even after closure of the cases, the respondent is maintaining the above history sheet against the petitioner. 2/4

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation made by the petitioner will be taken for consideration in the meeting scheduled to be held in the month of December, 2023.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
