ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the wife of a Special Grade Conductor who was working in the respondent Corporation and attained superannuation on 31.07.2018.

2. The employee had received the terminal benefits only in August 2019. Hence, the petitioner who is the wife of deceased employee has sent a representation on 15.08.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent is directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% from the due date till 30.08.2019 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
